STEP 1: SET UP
- Lay out your materials. Your Allergy Kit will include 1 material key and up to 15 material discs. Please note that the number of material discs may vary based on availability.
- Line up the colored material discs to the corresponding colors on the material key.
- Wash and dry hands thoroughly before beginning.
STEP 2: APPLY THE MATERIAL DISCS
- Following the order of materials on your key, start placing material discs on the inside of your forearms using the waterproof bandages or medical tape to secure them in place.
- Be sure to place discs at least 1 inch apart, numbering each material disc with a non toxic marker as you go. Stay away from hands, wrists, or any part of your arm that may come in contact with water.
- For best results, leave discs on for 2-5 days. Be sure to avoid any possible antihistamines in order to not skew the results of your test.
STEP 3: RECORD YOUR RESULTS
- Over the next 2-5 days keep your material key handy.
- If an irritation or tingling occurs, remove the disc immediately and clean the area. Mark the corresponding number to the material disc that caused the reaction with an X on your material key.
STEP 4: SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS
- After your 2-5 days are complete, remove and discard any remaining material discs.
- Be sure that your full name and date of birth are listed on your material key.
- Upload a photo of your completed material key below.
