Troubleshooting Photos

Thank you for reaching out to our Customer Service Team regarding your retainer concern. To assist you effectively, we kindly ask you to provide photos and videos of your retainers, including the areas causing trouble. This will enable our team to compare your original retainer with the new one that you are experiencing issues with, identify any differences, and address the issue efficiently. By sharing clear images of the retainer in place and focused on the problem area, we can work with your orthodontist to explore tailored solutions as needed. Since retainers are handcrafted by orthodontic professionals, occasional adjustments may be necessary. For all changes that deviate from your orthodontist's original prescription, our team will first request approval from your orthodontist.

Need to take troubleshooting photos?
Here's a quick guide on how to take photos for the best results!

FOR PHOTOS OF YOUR RETAINERS
1- Take photos against a solid, light colored background (we used a sheet of printer paper!)
2- Take photos in a room with good lighting (natural lighting is best!)
3- Take photos of ALL angles of your retainers

FOR PHOTOS OF THE PROBLEM AREA
1- Take photos from multiple angles
2- Take photos with flash and/or in bright lighting

Take Photos Using examples below:

-
Patients with Single arch retainers: Follow the "SINGLE ARCH EXAMPLES" and take corresponding photos.
-Patients using both upper and lower retainers: Please take separate photos of your top and bottom retainers following the "SINGLE ARCH EXAMPLES". Additionally, take a photo of both your upper and lower retainers together, following the "UPPER & LOWER ARCH EXAMPLES" provided.
-Patients with Phase I retainers: Take a photo of your retainer following the "SINGLE ARCH EXAMPLES" below. Additionally, remember to capture photos of the additional Phase I angles as instructed in "PHASE I EXAMPLES".

-All Patients: Take 2-5 photos showing the problem, you may also submit a video to show the problem
